Cavtat and the coast road south of Dubrovnik
Half a day, two very different views. First the Old Town from above, then the quieter side of the coast: Župa Bay and the little harbour town of Cavtat, where many people wish they had booked their stay.
There is no rush in Cavtat. Walk the waterfront, follow the path around the peninsula, have a coffee and let Damir know when you are ready to head back.

Dubrovnik from Srđ
Cavtat
The plan for the day
Srđ
We go up while the morning air is clear, for the classic view over the walls and Lokrum.
Župa Bay
The road runs high above the bay. On the way there is a stop with a view down over Kupari, Srebreno and Mlini.
Cavtat
A harbour full of boats, a promenade of cafés and a pine-covered peninsula. At the top of the town is the Račić family mausoleum, built by the sculptor Ivan Meštrović.
Good to know
In summer there is time for a swim off the rocks around the peninsula, so pack swimwear. If you would like to stay longer and go back by boat, Damir can leave you in Cavtat.
