Ston, Mali Ston oysters and the Pelješac wine villages
The Pelješac peninsula starts an hour north of Dubrovnik, and this day takes in its best-known flavours. Salt from Ston, oysters and mussels from the bay at Mali Ston, and the dark red Plavac Mali from the villages further along.

The plan for the day
Ston
The walls and the salt pans. A walk on the walls takes about an hour if you want it.
Mali Ston
The oyster farms are in the bay right in front of the restaurants. Lunch here is the reason many people come.
Ponikve and Potomje
Wine villages in the middle of the peninsula. Potomje sits just behind the Dingač slopes, and the cellars there are a short drive from each other.
Good to know
Oysters, lunch and wine tastings are paid separately. Tell us in advance if you would like a particular winery, so the visit can be arranged.
