Ston and the Neretva delta
The Neretva delta is the opposite of the stony coast around Dubrovnik. The river spreads into channels between flat fields, reed beds and orchards, and in autumn the roadside is lined with stalls selling mandarins.
The day starts in Ston, crosses the Pelješac Bridge and spends the afternoon in the valley.
