A wine day in Konavle
Konavle grows both white and red grapes, including the local Dubrovnik malvasia, on small plots between stone walls. The estates are mostly family-run, and visits feel more like a stop at someone's farm than a wine shop.
There is no fixed tasting package. Tell Damir what you like to drink and he plans the stops around it. The best part of having a driver for this one is obvious: nobody in your group has to stay sober.

The plan for the day
Gruda
The village at the centre of the wine area, with vineyards on both sides of the road.
Family estates
One or two visits to estates or wineries, chosen with you in advance. Tastings, olive oil, cheese or a meal are agreed with the estate and paid there.
Ljuta
A late lunch by the river and the old mills, if you still have room.
Good to know
Some estates only receive guests with a booking, so send your date early and say whether you prefer white or red. Wine bought on the day can travel back with you in the car.
